Optical Comparator Charts
All of our Optical Comparator Charts are especially designed for speedy and exact
comparison or absolute measurements of workpieces magnified on the sereen. The
measurements of length, height, parallelism, angle, radii, taper, hole location, diameter
and basic profile of screw threads are quickly and easily readable to high accuracy. All
Charts are available in the Inch or Metric system.
The width of all chart lines varies between .001" up to .003" according to the type of chart
with the exception of Screw Thread Charts.
Charts are supplied in all popular screen sizes up to 24" diameter (600 mm) or 20" x 24"
(500 x 600 mm) sizes. Each chart covers a magnification of 10x, 20x, 25x, 50x and 100x.
All of them are provided with an additional grid of 1/2" graduation, which offers a great
technical advantage.
A laminated coating covers the whole chart body, thus assuring durability and accuracy of
each line. Unlike glass charts, they are vitually indestructible. Frosted overlay charts are
available and quoted on request. Our standard overlay charts are clear transparent and
are furnished in a thickness of .080".

SCREW THREAD CHART
To be used on your Profile Projector for checking basic profiles,
pitch, angle, depth, root and crest forms. Magnifications of 10x,
20x and 50x.
All Unified and American screw threads (UNC, UNF, NF, NEF, 8 N,
12 N and 16 N series) are included in one chart in a thread pitch
range from 4 to 100. (1 chart) Type A 1
